Sailing Greece
Why Choose Slow Sailing in the Ionian?
The Ionian Sea is the premier destination for a relaxed sailing experience in Greece. Unlike the high-wind reaches of the Aegean, the Ionian offers predictable thermal breezes and short navigation distances between islands like Lefkas, Meganisi, and Kalamos. Our “Simply Sailing” philosophy embraces this pace, encouraging skippers to spend more time at anchor in secluded bays and less time battling heavy seas. By prioritizing short-hop routes, you ensure your crew remains rested and focused on the natural beauty of the Greek coastline.

From secluded bays only accessible by boat to vibrant coastal villages steeped in history, your Slow Sailing Island Hopping Tour is designed to showcase the very best of the Greek islands in total comfort.

Stress-Free Yachting Logistics
A truly relaxed charter depends on seamless background coordination. We manage the technical maritime standards—from VHF license verification to Greek Port Police paperwork—before you even arrive at the marina. This logistical safety net ensures that when you step on board for the Saturday turnover, the vessel is technically sound and legally cleared. We handle the “middleman” complexities so you can maintain total autonomy over your voyage without the administrative burden typically associated with independent yachting.
Relax with Expert Skippers on Your Greek Sailing Adventure
Our skippers are more than just navigators; they are highly trained and experienced Greek sailing experts, dedicated to crafting your perfect voyage. They meticulously ensure a smooth, safe journey across the azure waters, allowing you complete peace of mind. You’ll benefit immensely from their invaluable insider knowledge, as they unveil the very best spots for authentic dining experiences, captivating sightseeing, and hidden exploration, all tailored precisely to your preferences. With our guided sailing tours in Greece, you gain privileged access to truly hidden coves, postcard-perfect charming villages untouched by mass tourism, and vibrant marine life thriving in secluded bays. Imagine effortlessly dropping anchor in a turquoise paradise, free from the responsibilities of managing the boat. This freedom allows you to fully immerse yourself. Let the gentle rhythm of the sea and the stunning vistas rejuvenate you as you soak in breathtaking views from the deck, making every moment of your funtastic journey a pure delight of discovery.
A Minimalist Approach to Cabin Chartering
Our “Simply Sailing” model is designed for those who value authenticity over artifice. We strip away the corporate layers of traditional yachting to offer a streamlined, transparent experience that feels more like an Airbnb of the Seas. By focusing on the essentials—a perfectly maintained vessel, expert local waypoints, and total privacy—we provide a minimalist framework that lets the Greek islands take center stage. This approach allows you to dictate the pace of your holiday, focusing on the simple joy of a quiet anchorage and the freedom of the Ionian breeze without the clutter of unnecessary upselling.
The Freedom of the Uncharted Path
Ultimately, this philosophy is about reclaiming your time on the water. Rather than following a rigid flotilla schedule or rushing to overcrowded ports, you have the autonomy to linger in a bay that catches your eye or stay another night in a village that feels like home. We provide the technical foundation and the local insight, but the narrative of the voyage belongs entirely to you. It is about the transition from being a tourist to becoming a traveler, where the most important coordinate on the chart is wherever you feel most at peace.
We reject the one-size-fits-all cruise mentality in favor of genuine spontaneity. On your Simply Sailing holiday, you are not passive cargo; you are the architect of your own adventure. If your group decides to spend the morning exploring ancient ruins rather than sailing, you have the flexibility to adjust. If you discover a cove so pristine it demands an entire day of swimming and snorkeling, we support that choice. The true luxury we offer is not on the boat; it is the absolute freedom to pursue the experiences that resonate most deeply with you, unburdened by a pre-arranged schedule. This is your voyage, defining the Mediterranean experience on your terms.
